ABOUT RISM
The Research Initiative Sports and Management (RISM) at the Institute of International Business at Vienna University of Economics and Business is dedicated to
• Conduct, disseminate and encourage academic research with managerial relevance in and on sports

• Integrate sport management topics into International Business education
​
• Bridge academia and practice (sports organizations, associations, teams and firms) in both education and research
Our aim is to facilitate the interaction of people in sports, academia and management practice and the exchange of perspectives and ideas.
ACTIVITY
1.
RISM | Research focuses selectively on topics of high interdisciplinary relevance (link to institute research projects) both in academic outlets and practitioner projects.

RISM | Teaching seeks to integrate interdisciplinary Sports and Management topics into the academic curriculum at Vienna University of Economics and Business. This includes specialized courses and student research (e.g. bachelor & master theses).

RISM | Collaboration aims to serve as a forum and hub for professional athletes, sports management practitioners, academics and students. We strive to connect people's minds and ideas across disciplinary and industry confines.
