RISM currently collaborates with Stats Perform on a study to analyze the effect of team diversity on performance in football. Data from professional football teams would be ideally suited to study the effect of team diversity on team performance. It provides a unique context, capable of addressing limitations of previous experimental research. Using substitution-level data, researchers can estimate how an increase in diversity of players on the pitch changes the likelihood of scoring, depending on different degrees of task complexity (game standings).  

In 2021, RISM collaborated with Result Sport in a teaching seminar. Students were provided with data on European Clubs' social media and conducted an analysis of their performance under academic supervision.

From 2018 to 2019, RISM collaborated with FK Austria Wien in a teaching seminar. Students collected and analyzed sponsors of European Clubs and presented their analysis to club officials.
